Namasté

I’ve been feeling motivated to make some positive changes in my life. Barring the occasional epicurean indulgence I’ll allow myself, I’ve made an effort to follow Michael Pollan’s principle of, “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” In addition, I’ve taken up yoga once again, trying my hand at Bikram Yoga. It’s pretty intense and I often wanted to give up and collapse in my pool of sweat in that oppressive 110°F room, but I endured, and the overwhelming sensation of well-being and feat I felt at the end made it all worthwhile. It makes my usual routine Hatha Yoga look wimpy by comparison.
